It drives me crazy when a movie is supposed to be in the 1930s but the makeup and hair are so obviously 1960s, for example. Why did filmmakers do that? There's such a great chemistry between Newman and Redford here--I buy their relationship completely.<br /><br />Plus, there's the definite joy of seeing the whole thing stitch together into the final reveal.
