Almost as if anything not entirely black and white will not be approved and certainly not something laughing at anything British. The British love their irony and dark humour. In addition, many aristocratic families were proud to have sons in the military, as it was an honorable career. It's great to see Roger Livesey, an underrated performer for much of his career, get a juicy role.
