One can only agree that Citiz...Sad sad sad movie... One can only agree that Citizen Kane and Gregg Tolland in particular got robbed, but what I found most mystifying was the air of nostalgia for a life in hell on Earth. It does not make a lot of sense unless you are a masochist or uncritical sucker for anything Welsh. How did that strike such a note with the Academy? What did they see in this film that I did not?
