Love the relationship between the three and the tricks they are always pulling on each other. The Alfred Newman score is one of my favorites and the production design is a wonder to behold. <br /><br />I like Sam Jaffe very much, though I still picture someone younger in the role. Even at the time of the film's release, it came in for criticism, especially in India. So I can see where it would rub people the wrong way, but I've always related to the sheer exuberance of the whole thing. Several of the characters are direct transplants.<br />I agree on the poor timing of the film. It seems hopelessly anacronistic.
