The revelation of who the sicko is is the best thing for me, so if you already knew from seeing the Swedish version or having read the book, I suppose it would fall a tad flat.Kimberly J.M. In fact, it probably made this one's effect on me hit less than it originally could have, had I walked into it blindly. I am a fan of the book and, while the film doesn't quite measure up, I thought they did a pretty good job. I would say that Lisbeth is a pretty hard character to nail down, so I think both actresses did creditable jobs.FlickChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17351624749230610755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8672005424133365490.post-12517859031719837272013-07-06T02:19:29.703-04:002013-07-06T02:19:29.703-04:00I saw the original 2009 version (Swedish) with Mic...I saw the original 2009 version (Swedish) with Michael Nyqvist (not quite Daniel Craig) and Noomi Rapace. Though I didn't care much for the graphic violence and disturbing subject matter, the actors and mood/atmosphere did hold my attention. I've tried to watch the 2011 remake with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara but haven't been able to stick with it to the end. Yet. Will try again.
